Karolyn Dianne “Karo” Kraning- Howe, 60, of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018.
She was born on December 10, 1957 in Indianapolis, Indiana as the 4th child of Forest and Willadean (Miller) Kraning. Karo attended Arsenal Tech High School and worked at Lane Bryant in the early 80’s. She was a Jehovah’s Witness Brookside Congregation and loved her family. Karo also enjoyed 70’s and 80’s music, word search books, coffee and sweets. Before she became too sick she loved to travel to Florida with her Mom each winter, go on cruises, play scrabble, cards and use her laptop.
Karo married Timothy D. Howe in 1974; he preceded her in death, along with her parents; and a sister, Sharon. She is survived by brothers, Ron Kraning (Tammie), Billy Kraning (Mary); sisters, Maralyn Allen (Bill) and Sheri Kraning (Marty). Karo is also survived by her uncle, David Miller (Phillis); brother-in-law, Steve Howe; along with many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. She will be forever loved and missed.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 15, 2018 from 4-8pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East. Funeral services will take place the following morning at 10am, also in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Floral Park Cemetery. Friends are invited to leave online condolences for the family at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
