Kari Lynn Schmohe

Kari Lynn Schmohe, 52 of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021. She was born on October 14, 1969, in Rockford, Illinois to Jim Schmohe and the late Connie Schmohe.

Kari was active in band and drama club while attending high school in Fairfield, Ohio. She also was a former “Miss Fairfield”.

She attended Miami University before receiving her bachelor’s degree in Communications and her Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree in Law from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. This helped achieve her employment at her place of employment Flex Force LLC of Westfield as a successful Office Manager.

Reading and a love of animals are a few things that she loved.  She also enjoyed traveling with her family. Some of her favorite places to go were Brown County, Indiana, Saugatuck, Michigan, and Patoka Lake located in Southern Indiana.

A Celebration of Life service will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Flanner Buchanan – Carmel, 325 E. Carmel Drive.

Kari is survived by daughters, Hallie Jones, a student at IUPUI and Katelynn, a student at Clearwater Elementary; her loving husband, Paul Woolsey of Indianapolis; and her father Jim Schmohe of Carmel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riley’s Children’s Hospital.
