Karen Sue Shipley Receveur

77, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on October 30, 2020.  Karen was born on May 18, 1943 in Bloomington, Indiana to the late, Mike and Lucule Shipley.  She was the Owner-Operator of Karen’s Beauty Salon.  She was a member of Oakview Baptist Church, Okeechobee, Florida.  She is survived by her husband, Joe Receveur; children Tammy Waldrup, Timothy (Ella Fay) Receveur and Terrance (Kristina) Receveur; sister, Donna Dazey; brother, Phillip Shipley; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.  Visitation will be Tuesday, November 3, 2020 from 4 to 8 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.  Services will be Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.  Burial will follow at West Ridge Park Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  This service will be live streamed at; https://youtu.be/-QVM_J22tQU
