Karen S. Maines, 67, of Noblesville, IN passed away unexpectedly on February 9, 2019. Karen was born in Indianapolis, IN on November 6, 1951 to parents, Lowell E. and Lillian R. (Sanders) Frick. During her career, Karen worked for many years at the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office and went on to retire from Allied Solutions, where she worked as a secretary.

Karen was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and would not hesitate to go out of her way to help others. She was a former member of the First Church of God in Noblesville, where she loved to sing in the church choir. She currently attended Cicero Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Karen is survived by the love of her life, Teddie Maines; her beloved daughters: Tina Wiley (Doug) and Lynette Carter (Brandon Forbush); bonus children: Brenda Sherwood (Ray) and Greg Maines; grandchildren: Duncan Wiley and Austin Carter (Tara McMackin); seven bonus grandchildren; one great-grandson, Jaxon Carter; three bonus great-grandchildren; siblings: Robert Frick (Norma), Garry Frick (Diane) and Terry Frick (Michele); as well as many other loving extended family and friends.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law, Randall Carter.

Friends may call from 11am until 1pm, Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Flanner Buchanan- Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Good Shepherd Chapel), 9700 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, where funeral services will immediately follow at 1pm. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help with financial hardships.
