Karen A. Levenhagen (Landau), beloved mother, sister, and aunt, passed away on November 1, 2024 at the age of 66. She was born on September 14th, 1958, in St. Louis, MO, to parents Herman Joseph and Mary Elizabeth (Baumeister) Landau.
She attended Bloomington South High School where she competed in the tennis state championships. Karen graduated from Indiana University and was a member of Alpha Phi Sorority. A lifelong IU fan, she enjoyed attending Indiana sporting events with her family. She was a loving and devoted mother to her three children and spent countless joyful hours attending their numerous events and activities.
She dedicated over 20 years to Northview Middle School as an Administrative Assistant.
She is survived by her children, Lauren, Lindsay, and Ryan; siblings, Sharon (Gene) Sponseller, Joe (Ellen) Landau, Sandy (Blake) Briggs, and six nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held from 3pm until 7pm, Friday, November 8, 2024, at Flanner Buchanan – Carmel (325 E. Carmel Dr. Carmel, IN). A Graveside Service will be held privately for family and close friends at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
