Karen Earlean Brown

Karen Earlean (O’Day) Brown, 67, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 12, 2022.

She was born on August 3, 1954, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Keith and Clara Ann O’Day. They preceded her in death.

She was a lifelong resident of the west side of Indianapolis.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Brown, as well as her three children: Travis (Allyson) Smith, Taylor (Adam) Dickmeyer, and Tylar (Deberly) Dickmeyer. She also leaves behind five grandchildren: Andrew and Olivia Smith, Xavier and Sophia Thomas, and Lucia Lopez. Additionally, she is survived by siblings Michael (Sandra) O’Day, Kenneth Golder, Shelly Golder, and Angela Jayne Golder.

A short visitation will be from 4-6pm Monday, June 20, 2022, at Flanner Buchanan – Speedway at 2950 North High School Road. In lieu of flowers, donations in Karen’s name may be made to the Indiana University Health Foundation (IU Health Neuroscience Center for Neuromuscular Disorders) at https://www.iuhealthfoundation.org/donate.
