Justine Kay Durnal

Of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at the age of 79. Justine was born in Scotland, Indiana on August 24, 1940 to Wade and Faye Emmons.

Following her graduation from High School, Justine worked her early years as a beautician. Once she was married, they had three sons; John, Michael, and Dwayne Jeffris. At this time Justine became a homemaker to provide constant care and devotion to her children. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family’s every meal.

Justine was an active member of Plainfield Christian Church for over 20 years. Once her sons grew older, she began spending more time attending and volunteering at church. Her time spent there brought so much joy and meaning to her life.

As she grew older, she settled into enjoying the peaceful moments in her life. Her cat Oreo was always by her side or on her lap. She loved Oreo dearly.

Justine is preceded in death by her parents, Wade and Faye Emmons.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory; her sons, John, Mike, and Dwayne Jeffris.
