June Kraft Mccoskey

June Kraft McCoskey was born in Indianapolis, IN on August 26, 1925, to Amanda Stewart Kraft and William Henry Kraft. She was baptized at a young age and was a member of the Martinsburg, IN Church of Christ. June graduated from Pekin, IN High School and worked during the war for the US Finance Center in Jeffersonville. She married John (Jack McCoskey) on July 4, 1944. No children were born of this union. Jack preceded her in death on October 28, 1992. June was also preceded in death by one sister, Lillian M. Bush.

June was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star Salem Chapter #286 (Salem, IN). She worked for Century 21 Clayton and Murray until the office was closed and then with Century 21 Realty Group McCoun. June was a member of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Board of Realtors. She retired from Travelers Insurance Company after 38 ½ years. June organized senior trips for the church and enjoyed arranging them. She too enjoyed traveling, visiting many countries across the globe, especially Europe. June also was a volunteer for the Community Home Health VNA, calling on patients at their homes and at the nursing homes.

Survivors include her three nephews: James Bush (Kamilla), Marvin Bush (Wendy), and Terry Bush; seven great nieces and nephews, seven great-great nieces and nephews, sister-in-law, Eloise DeWitt (Lutz, FL); one nephew by marriage, John DeWitt; and many friends.
