June Evelyn Rolland

June Evelyn Rolland, age 85, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 in Zionsville, Indiana.  She was born in Rockford, Illinois to John Gustav Nelson and Annie Nelson on June 9, 1935 and was the youngest of four children.  She graduated from Harlem High School in Rockford.  Since 1979, June was a Zionsville resident and member of the Zionsville United Methodist Church.  For 20 years, she worked at Hoosier Village Retirement Center, where she so enjoyed her time spent with the residents. June is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Burton Arthur Rolland, her son Jeffrey Rolland and daughter Denise Troyer and her six grandchildren, Courtney, Kyle, Haley, & Olivia Rolland, and Nathaniel & Amelia Troyer.  She will be dearly missed as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.  A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, April 24^th from 2-4 pm at Zionsville United Methodist Church.  A private, family funeral will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Rockford, Illinois, April 30^th.
