Julianne "Julie" Herald-Henricks

Julianne “Julie” Herald-Henricks, of Carmel, IN, passed away on November 7, 2020 at the age of 51. Julie was born in Indianapolis, IN on November 28, 1968 to parents, Jerry F. and Patricia A. (Roop) Herald.  She graduated from Carmel High School and went on to earn her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University.  Julie worked for over 35 years with Ascension St. Vincent, starting out as a pharmacy technician and then further transitioned into her role as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Ascension St. Vincent NICU at St. Vincent Women’s Hospital.

Julie was a member of the National Association of Social Workers, the Indiana Society for Social Work Leadership in Health Care and the Indiana University Alumni Association.  In her health, she enjoyed loving her daughter, Josie and supporting Josie’s cheer family.

Julie was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Patricia Herald and beloved son, Eric Kevin Taylor.

She will be lovingly missed by her daughter, Josie Elana Henricks; husband, Gregory Allen “Greg” Henricks; stepchildren, Allen Scott Henricks (Kayla) and Alyssa Marie Hunter (Drew); siblings: Lynda Kay Huff (Dennis) and Jerry “J.D.” Herald; mother-in-law, Kathy Henricks; father-in-law, Dan Henricks; sister-in-law, Michele L. Cuba; step-grandchildren: Dawson, Lane and Nolan Henricks; many other loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends; as well as her beloved cat, Violet.

Friends may call from 4pm until 8pm on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Flanner Buchanan-Carmel, 325 E. Carmel Drive, Carmel, IN, where funeral services will be held on Friday, November 13, beginning at 11am.  Please note seating will be limited.  The family respectfully asks that those outside of the most immediate family members please plan to pay your respects during the calling hours and reserve seating for the family during the stated service time.  Burial will follow services in Salem Cemetery, Zionsville.
