Judith Kay Hart Schondel

82 of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on April 27, 2023, in Avon, Indiana.  Judith was born on March 28, 1941, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Wilbur and Alma Hart. She was retired from Shorewood Packaging.  An Avid gardener, Judy had a green thumb and her flower gardens flourished under her care.  Though she loved to travel and loved the beach, her heart was always at her beautiful home in Brown County.  She was very outgoing and loved spending time and talking with friends and family.  She also volunteered with Triad of Brown County spending time with and helping those who were confined to their homes.  If you were spending time with Judy, you were guaranteed a smile.  She will be greatly missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Edward Schondel; granddaughter, Nikki Jo LaBolle; sisters, Dorothy Hart, Betty Jean Meadows, Shirley Hart and Sharon Hancock; brothers, Charles “Sonny” Hart, Donald Hart and Turner Hart and her parents.  She is survived by her children, Pam (Bill) Clark, Charles (Sheila) Henderson and Teresa (David) Schondel; sisters, Rosemary Landry and Sandra Bryant; grandchildren, Brian (Abby) LaBolle, Mathew LaBolle, Erin (John Adams) Henderson and Breanna (Anthony) Webb; great grandchildren, Masyn LaBolle and Lillian McCraw; several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Brelee Jean.

Celebration of Life Service will be Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 2 pm to 6 pm at Rec and Aquatic Center, 651 Vestal Road, Plainfield, Indiana 46168.
