Judith D. "Judy" Hanks

Judith Dale Hanks, age 92, of Indianapolis, passed away July 23, 2018. Judy was born in Jamestown, IN on October 3, 1925 to her parents, George and Pearl (Osborn) Dale. During her career, Judy worked as a secretary with Delta Fraternity. Judy was a member of Hope Church. She enjoyed playing cards, especially Pinochle, with her card club for over 50 years.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E. Hanks; and 4 siblings: George Dale, Claudia Vancleave, Elizabeth Kincaid and Charley Dale.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Imel (Richard); 3 grandchildren: C.P. Jenkins (Nicole), Ryan Jenkins (Jessica) and Lindsay Head (Adam); and 12 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 11am-1pm, Friday, July 27, 2018 at Flanner Buchanan- Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Good Shepherd Chapel) where her funeral services will immediately follow at 1pm. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial contributions be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
