Judith Buck Draft Obituary:
Judith Ann (Woolston) Buck, 79, of Noblesville, passed away unexpectantly on November 30th.  She was surrounded by her loving family who were able to witness her peaceful and graceful transition from this life to a new life in her heavenly dwelling.
Judy was born on June 19th, 1940, in Gibson County, to Ennes and Ruby (Scales) Woolston and was one of 15 children.  She was a 1958 graduate of Fort Branch High School.
Judy’s early adult years were spent as a stay-at-home mom raising her four children.  She was an active member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Buckskin and was also a member of the Fort Branch chapter of Eastern Star. After all the children were in school, she worked as a Teacher’s Aide at Fort Branch Community School for 10 years.  With a move to Indianapolis, she began her 25-year career in retail and enjoyed working at several clothing and department stores, including L.S. Ayres, Plotner’s, JoS. A. Bank, Macy’s, and Stein Mart.
Judy’s life was centered around her family.  She loved being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She could be found on the floor or in the backyard playing with her grandkids and loving every minute (and so did they)!  She also loved doing crossword puzzles and all kinds of brain games.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Jason Bradley Buck, and her siblings, Thelma Shaw, William Woolston, Bettie Shaw, James (Fred) Woolston, Carol Davis, Jerry Woolston, Donald Woolston, Kenneth Woolston, Robert Woolston and David Woolston.
She is survived by her children, Leslie (Mark) Wilson of Carmel, Brett (Becky) Buck of Middletown, and Lori (Rick) Goddard of Fishers; grandchildren – Hali Buck, Abby (Brett) Shipley, Logan (Shelley) Buck, Carson Buck, Andrew Buck, James (Sarah) Goddard and David Goddard and great-grandchildren – Addison Shipley and Knox Shipley.  She is also survived by siblings, Beulah Miller of Daleville, Dennis Woolston of Evansville, Zella Frey of Owensville, and Steven Woolston of Rockville.
Her family is very grateful for the caring and compassionate attention that she received from the Carmel Fire Department and the St. Vincent’s ER staff and ICU medical staff.
Services will be held at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Blvd. W. Dr., Indianapolis, on Monday, Dec. 9th, at 12:30pm. Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 12:30 on the day of the service. Interment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
