Judith Ann Irani

Judith Ann Irani, 86, of Indianapolis, passed away June 23, 2020 surrounded by family. She was born in Indianapolis on March 31, 1934 to the late Herbert and Esther Hurt.

She attended Howe High School and later went on to work for Bell Telecommunication as a switchboard operator. As years passed, she worked her way up and finally retired in 1987 as a staff manager for AT&T. She was an avid gardener and spent many hours tending to her flowers. She enjoyed hosting guests and family for holidays and specialized in Thanksgiving.

Judith is survived by her beloved son, James E. Nichols; stepdaughter Katrina Donahue; step grandchildren, Ian and Leah; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Shapur Khudamurad Irani; brother Raymond and Charles Hurt; and sister, Juanita Orrick and Nancy Olge.

A time of visiting will be held at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park at 9350 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229 on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 from 12PM-2PM.
