Jt Ragland

JT Ragland, 86, Indianapolis, went home to be with his Lord February 25, 2022. He was born in Jackson, TN to Epsie and Anna Meaders Ragland. JT was a child of God and a devout family man. Retired at the age of 70, he worked 24 years at Glass Containers in Indianapolis as a forklift operator. He loved playing cards, fishing, bowling, basketball, baseball and especially enjoyed long motorcycle rides.

JT was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers OT, Samuel, Welezie, and Daniel; his sisters Odessa, Elnora, and Geraldine; his sons Adrian and Brian.

Survivors include his wife, Edna Mae Doty; children Brad (Sherri), Emory Jay, Mary, and Tom (Barbara); eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters Vera, Virgie, and Gloria; and brothers RV, MC, and John

Visitation will be held Monday from 10-12pm at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Rd. Indianapolis. Funeral services will begin there at 12pm. Online condolences may be shared at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
