Joyce A. Moorhead

Joyce A. Moorhead of Indianapolis entered eternal rest on October 7, 2018 at the age of 79.

She was born April 12, 1939 in Paris, Kentucky to the late William Conway and Mary F. Wilson Vice. She retired from the National Starch and Chemical Corporation after 31 years.

She is survived by her children Kevin Moorhead (Colleen) and Terry V. Moorhead (Tammy Crosby); grandchildren Julie Nickel (Sam), Suanne Morgan, and Scott O’Brien (Gretchen); great-grandchildren Isiah Morgan, Tyson Morgan, Ava O’Brien, and Cullen O’Brien; significant other Mackey “Budd” Moore; Budd’s children Clinton, Barbara, Matthew and Tammy, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was a loved aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband James A. Moorhead, sister Barbara J. Stewart, and her parents.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 12 from 1 to 3 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis. Funeral Services will be held at 3 PM.  She will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
