Joseph James Polovich, 77, of Danville, Indiana passed away on January 17, 2017.
He was born December 2, 1939 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Nicholas and Olga Polovich. He graduated from Tech High School and he served in the US Marine Corp. Jim retired from the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier after 20 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion. Jim loved to fish, cook and spend time with his friends and at Belterra Casino.
Surviving to cherish Jim’s memory are his wife of 37 years, Marlene, son and daughter-in-law, Nick and Christina Polovich and grandchildren, Joshua, Nicholas, Cole and Brittany. Friends may visit from 11 AM until service time at 1 PM Friday, January 20, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan – Decatur Township, 5463 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis.
