87, of Indianapolis, passed away June 7, 2019. He was born on November 8, 1931 in Indianapolis, Indiana as the son of Clair and Laura Abbott.

Joseph is survived by his wife of 63 years, Shirley Abbott; daughters: Kathryn (Curt) Percifield, Lori Howard, Debra Calvert; 1 grandson; 1 granddaughter; and 2 great grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and son-in-law, George “Randy” Howard.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 2pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East Cemetery.
