Jordan Henry
by Jayda Wills
This is for my cousin:
Whose life was taken from her at such a young age.
She was creative, loving and kind
qualities she took from her mother.
Her long, dark hair which was thin and smooth,
carried her whole personality.
Her curious soft eyes,
brought so much more kindness to this world.
Her contagious, caring smile
was seen by those who needed it the most.
And, her beautiful daughter,
her greatest creation yet,
will carry her destiny,
sharing her appearance in every way.
We love you, but we know you’re doing well
up in the sky with our Lord
who will take care of you and show you a love
that is everlasting and pure.
You won’t be in pain any longer,
You are now set free.
