Jonell Begley

Jonell Begley, 81, passed away Friday morning, November 9, 2018. She was surrounded by her large family.

During her long life, Mrs. Begley was loved by all. She loved everyone in return and most of all, loved her family more than life itself.

She lived a great life and always thought of others before herself.

Mrs. Begley is survived by her husband of 56 years, William Begley; seven children, Shirley Cherry (Larry), Kevin Burnette (Amanda), Marty Burnette (Sue), Clay Begley (Diane), Brenda Black (Tim), Jeff Begley (Robyn), Tosha Orr (Mike); nine grandchildren, Kevin “Bub” Burnette, Jr., Anita Kiser, Michelle Davis, Kenny Moses, Joshua Moses, William Burgess, Connor Begley, Cody Burnette, Jeremiaha Burgess; 19 great-grandchildren, Kyle, Kesha, Austin, Megan, Tristan, Treydan, Emily, Nevaeh, Heaven, Shelby, Trinitee, Destiny, Priscilla, Arianna, Alexander, Willow, Logan, Chase and Hunter; 3 great-great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews and countless children by love and not by blood.

She is also survived by two sisters, Lottie Jones of Cave City, Kentucky and Helen Edwards of Evansville, Indiana. She is preceded in death by her parents, John William Hammock and Anna Turner Hammock; two brothers, J Y Hammock, Dillard Hammock; one sister, Dorothy Grimes; and one grandchild, Chad Burnette.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening November 13, 2018 from 4pm-8pm with a service at 1pm, Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Flanner Buchanan – Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Road, Indianapolis.
