John Wesley Bennett Lee

John Wesley Bennett Lee, 84, Noblesville, passed away on June 10, 2018. He was born January 5, 1934, in Indianapolis. He married Jeannette Garrison on October 4, 1957.

John was a graduate of Ben Davis High School. He grew up in Speedway, where he developed his passion for racing. He worked on race cars in his younger years for Bud Gates, Rodger Ward and A.J. Watson. He was a former plant manager at Rite Mix Inc. and Quickrete.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Jeannette Lee; three children, Tina (David) Boonstra, Shari Lee, and John Brian Lee; five grandchildren, Kyle Boonstra, Matthew Boonstra, Cody Lee, and Kayla Lee; and two great granddaughters, Lily and Olivia.

Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2018, at Hamilton Memorial Park, 4180 Westfield Road. Online condolences may be shared by visiting flannerbuchanan.com.
