John T. “LJ” Schultheis, 70, of Greenfield, IN went to be with his Lord and Savior June 10, 2017. John was born May 22, 1947 in Indianapolis, IN the son of the late Carl and Marguerite (Easter) Schultheis. John was a member of Heather Hills Baptist Church and Teamsters Local #135. He drove a truck for Consolidated Freightway and had been a Diesel Mechanic for Mason Dixon and Ruran Trucking. John was a member of the National Rifle Association, Deer Creek Conservation Club, Buzzards of Indiana, International Practical Shooting Confederation/United States Practical Shooting Association. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, William and Larry Schultheis.
John is survived by his loving wife, Marsha (Huntworth) Schultheis; Children, Thomas, Todd (Rachael), Brian (Christy) and Sue Schultheis; grandchildren, Mark, Julie, Brian, Brett, Elizabeth and Raquel; great grandchild, Nicholas; siblings, Reggie Woods, Carl Schultheis, Molly Walker, Clara Zolud and Angela Johnson; and sister-in-laws, Carol Schultheis and Kathy Schultheis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Kenny, Keith, Kevin, Kristina Plunkett and Kelly Schultheis; Sandy Chavez, Debbie Andrioff and John Schultheis; Dawn Turk and Pete; and Kathy Schultheis. Many great nieces and nephews survive.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 4-8 PM at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
