John Stephen “Rox” Bottorff, Jr.
48, of Indianapolis, IN passed away May 6, 2017. John was born on March 6, 1969 to Alice Ann (Beyer) Bottorff and the late, John S. Bottorff, Sr. He served in the Army National Guard before sustaining an injury. He went on to work in industrial production, most recently with Firestone before their closing and later for USF Holland, where he worked until his illness. He was past Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus, St. Joseph Council #5290.
Rox was preceded in death by his father, John Stephen Bottorff, Sr. and his mother-in-law, Carol L. Jones. He will be lovingly missed by his wife, Donna Jo (Kelley) Bottorff; children: Albert “A.J.” Young, Alexander K. Young (Jeanne), Alysha S. Young, Johna G. Bottorff and Danielle J.M.V. Bottorff; grandchildren: Austin A. Young, Braylin Williams, Alexiah Young, Michael Conor, III, Aidan A. Young, Montana Conor, Avery A. Young and Ashton D. Young; mother, Alice A. Bottorff; siblings: Laura A. King and Sarah L. Owens; brothers-in-law, Kyle Adams, Sr. (Shavon), Todd Kelley (NaTasha), Thomas Johnson, LeRoy Johnson (Bonita) and Julian J. Debow (Amanda); godson, San Padro White; and his close friends, Chad Kelley, Paul McGinley, and Gus Eldridge; as well as many other loving family members and friends.
Friends may gather from 4pm until 8pm, Friday, May 12, 2017 and again from 10am until 11am on Saturday, May 13th at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park North,
2706 Kessler Blvd, Indianapolis, IN 46228. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday, May 13th at the funeral center. Burial will follow in Washington Park North Cemetery.
