John R. "Rick" Wooden

John R. “Rick” Wooden, 67, Indianapolis, IN, passed away January 17, 2025. He was born in Indianapolis, IN to John A. Wooden and Ruth (Featherengill) Wooden. He worked for many years at Kenworth of Indiana and was an avid hockey fan.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Virginia L (Williams) Wooden, daughter Brandy Wooden, son John C. Wooden, grandchildren Emily Wooden, Ricky Wooden, sister Carol Wooden, brother Roger Wooden and several extended family members.

Visitation will be held Friday February 7th from 10am to 12pm at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Rd. Indianapolis. A memorial service will begin there at 12pm.
