John Edward Diskin

John Edward Diskin, 64, of Noblesville, passed away peacefully at home with his family on December 23, 2024. He was born February 2, 1960, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late Thomas Patrick and Vera (Tornes) Diskin. He married Kathleen Lynne Edwards on October 23, 1982.

John retired from Arrow Electronics after 40 years of service. John loved to fish and to work on his pride and joy, a 1960 Ford Falcon. He was always quick with a joke and his smile could brighten anyone’s day. He never met a stranger, making fast friends anywhere he went. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Kathleen Diskin; two daughters, Jessica (Craig) Scholtes and Carrie (Matt) Boots; three grandchildren, Caitlyn, Benjamin, and Harper; and five siblings, Diane (Ron) Schuster, Eileen Schuster, Janet Smith, Thomas (Karen) Diskin, and Rita (Greg) Hoppins. He was preceded in passing by two brothers-in-law, Rick Schuster and Larry Smith.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan - Hamilton Memorial Park (Prairie Waters), 4180 Westfield Road. Doors will be open at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will immediately follow the service from 11:00 a.m. until 12 noon, at this time the family invites you to join them for a reception.
