John David Poetz

John David Poetz passed away June 29, 2022 at the age of 56.
He is a 1984 graduate of Scecina High School. He spent his career working as a landscaper for Ski Landscape for over 30 years.
John was a Colts and Dodgers fan. He enjoyed fishing and golf.
He is survived by his mother Becky Baker; siblings Jim Poetz (Rose), Mike Poetz (Penny), and Jackie Hagist (Bo); nieces and nephews Rachel (Ryan), Michael (Martyne), Ellen, Joe, Isaac, Owen, Emma, Leo, and Abe; and special friends Jim and Sandy Doyle.
He was preceded in death by his parents David and Nancy Poetz.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 5 from 9 AM to 11 PM in Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 E. 10th St, Indianapolis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be begin at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
