John Andrew Barnes

John A. Barnes, 60, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018.

Born June 17, 1958 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Thomas and Mary Ellen Barnes. He is survived by his siblings: Thomas (Kris) Barnes, Kathleen (the late, Keith) Tekulve, Andrew (David) Barnes, Matthew (Lisa) Barnes, Christopher (Debbie) Barnes, and Vincent (Michelle) Barnes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Barnes.

John graduated from Lawrence Central High School in 1976 and worked at Wishard Hospital until his retirement in 2013. John was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Indianapolis.

Calling will be held from 11am until 1pm on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Flanner Buchanan- Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), where his funeral service will immediately follow at 1pm. Burial will follow services in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
