Joe Lynn Collier

Joe Lynn Collier, 81 of Carmel, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018.  Joe was born July 22, 1936 in Martin, TN to the late Burdette and Mary Elizabeth Collier.  Joe earned both is Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Illinois Wesleyan University.

Joe was Dean of Admissions at Butler University for Master’s candidates, foreign students and transfer students.  He retired in 1995.  Joe was a devoted member of Second Presbyterian Church and was very active with The Sages.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Saturday, January 27 in the Milner Chapel at Second Presbyterian Church.  Family and friends are invited to gather from 9:00 am until the time of the service in the church parlor.

Joe is survived by his nephew, Robert (Lynda) Collier; nieces, Erinn (John) McMahon and Andrea (Mark) Fleming, sister in law, Linda Collier. Joe also leaves behind his caregiving friends, Ann Brunner, Tom Arvin and Keith Little.
