J'Nann Elizabeth Grayson

J’nann Elizabeth (Brammer) Grayson died November 19th after a long illness.  She and her identical twin sister, Judith Anne Brammer (Bell), were born in Clinton, Indiana May 3, 1933. Graduating from Indiana State University with a Master’s degree in Teaching, J’nann started her career as a Camp Counselor in Canada and Colorado. She then become an elementary school teacher in Muskegon Michigan, Clinton and Lawrence Indiana.  She and Don L. Grayson were married on May 27, 1962 in Clinton, IN, and parented two children, Eric B. and Melinda D. She was an accomplished seamstress, making many of her own clothes, and an avid gardener. A lifelong adventurer, she and Don travelled the globe with the Voyager flying travel club, much of the US with the Airstream Club, and explored the Great Lakes and Southern Canada in their sailboat. She is survived by her husband Don L. Grayson, her son Eric B. (Glory-June Greiff), and daughter Melinda D. (Bruce Lee). One nephew, John D. Bell, one niece Margaret L. ‘Mollie’ Bell (Smith).

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 24th, from 10am – 12pm at Flanner Buchanan – Broad Ripple, 1305 Broad Ripple Ave., Indianapolis, IN, 46220 where Funeral Service will follow promptly at 12pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in J’nann’s name to Saint Margaret Anglican Church, 8140 N. Township Line Rd., Indianapolis, IN, 46260 or Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA), 6116 Executive Blvd., Suite 320, Rockville, MD 20852.
