Jimmy Lee Nidiffer, 77, passed away May 13, 2022, at home in Zionsville. He was born March 6, 1945, in South Bend, Indiana, to Charles and Anna (Bast) Nidiffer.
Jim spent his whole career as a systems analyst at NCR before retiring. He was also a member of the U.S. Army Reserves. He loved to travel and visited many places around the world. He also loved ice fishing and running. He was inducted into the IHSAA Hall of Fame as a state champion and record holder for the 880-yard run. He has also participated in many marathons including London, New York, and Chicago.
He is survived by his son Michael (Karen); daughter Beth (Scott) Toney; stepson Dominic (Becky) Sutton; sister Dixie Gray; grandchildren Brittany, Steve, Nathan, Alicia, Matthew, Luke, Austin, Jacob, Anna, Michael, and Jack; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 27 years Miriam (Sutton), and his brother Charles (Dick).
