Jim -Sonny- Crail

Jim “Sonny” Crail, 69, Zionsville, passed away October 22, 2017.He was born December 24, 1947 in Indianapolis, the son of Ermal and Mary(Grimes) Crail. Jim served in the U.S. Marine Corps for over 22 years, alsoserving in Vietnam. He was a proud Marine. Jim was also proud of and loved hisfamily. He became an insurance agent in 1988, eventually forming his ownbusiness, Premier Financial Group USA. Jim attended St. Alphonsus CatholicChurch. He loved to play golf and was a huge Colts and Pacers fan.

Jim waspreceded in death by his parents.

On June 6, 1970, he married Kathleen Crail,who survives, and was Jim’s wife for 47 years. He is also survived by hischildren, Angie Bowden (Eddie) and James “J. C.” Crail II; his grandchildren,Jarred Bowden (Angel) and Jannia Bowden; his siblings, Bruce Crail, Alvin Crail(Linda), Fran Johnson (Greg), and Maura Griffin (Dallas); and numerous niecesand nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, October 26 at 11AM at St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church, 1870 Oak Street, Zionsville.Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 25 from 4-8 PM at Flanner Buchanan-Zionsville, 105 W. Pine Street, and on Thursday from 10-11 AM at church. Burialwill be in Eagle Creek Cemetery, with military honors.
