Jerry L. Morgan

Jerry Morgan of Carmel, IN, passed away on October 1, 2024, at the age of 68. He was born in Noblesville, IN, on June 29, 1956, to parents, Paul Marvin and Bertha Louise (Cox) Morgan. He grew up in Carmel, graduating with the class of 1974. He graduated from IUPUI with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Jerry worked for AT&T and InDesign before retirement. 

He traveled the world, visiting Asia, Europe, and South America. He missed only one year of the annual fishing trip to Kentucky with his friends. He loved to garden and to build unique creations. Jerry enjoyed unusual foods from around the world and recipes of his own design that he served to family and friends. 

He was a loving husband, stepfather, step grandfather, and uncle. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Anita Morgan, stepson Jeremy (Christy) Hackerd, step grandson Teddy Hackerd, nephew Daniel (Raye-Lynn) Morgan, niece Rachel Morgan, and great nieces Cecily and Felicity Morgan and numerous cousins, in-laws, and lifelong friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Janette Morgan.
