Jerry Hunter Anson, 83, of Carmel, Indiana passed away January 30, 2022. Jerry was born in Indianapolis, IN on February 16, 1938, to the late Joseph Hunter Anson and Marie (Faust) Anson. He had three siblings; Joe Anson, (deceased) John Anson, (deceased) and Jim Anson. He was a graduate of Westfield High School in 1956 and shortly after married Susan Jones at Hortonville Methodist Church in 1958. Jerry had three beautiful children and was a caring individual who touched the lives of all who knew him.
Jerry was a successful businessman and went on to start his own company, AG Enterprises. Being a self-taught businessman was not only one of Jerry’s many skills, he really was a “jack of all trades” and could be counted on by his family, friends, and neighbors to help them with anything. No scenario ever seemed too difficult for him to handle. To many, Jerry was Google before its creation and a true book of knowledge that never disappointed.
He had many joys in life, including running his businesses, reading and learning, problem solving, investing, cracking jokes, feeding the wildlife, and relaxing outdoors on the wooden swing, but the most important thing to him was spending time with his family that he loved dearly. Graveside services will be held Monday, February 7, 2022, at Summit Lawn Cemetery located at 1154 Westfield Boulevard, Westfield, IN 46074 at 12:00 p.m. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Susan Lee Anson, children: Laurie (John) Gough, Lisa (Dennis) Gardner, Jeff (Diana) Anson; 8 grandchildren: Michael Gardner, Nicole Gardner, Christopher Gardner, Niki Ford, Abbey Bass, Torey Williamson, Hope Gough, and Grace Gough; 7 great-grandchildren: Treyton Gardner, Jayden Finkney, Trey Howard, Tylan Howard, Ruby Ford, Leo Ford, and Jesse Bass.Monday, February 7, 2022
