Jerry C. “Pete” Kincaid 83 of Westfield, Indiana, formerly of Waverly, Indiana passed away February 26, 2022. He was born in Wolfe County, Kentucky on November 7, 1938. Pete retired from Ford Motor Company after 39 years of service. In his younger years he enjoyed racing cars at Indianapolis Raceway Park and Kitley Park. Pete enjoyed Square Dancing, working puzzles, watching John Wayne Movies, enjoyed traveling and raised Yorkies. He was a member of Souls Harbor Church in Plainfield, Indiana. Pete is survived by his children, Novella (Michael) Charon, Gregory Kincaid, Robert Kincaid, grandchildren, Melinda (Nick) Simmons, Elizza Wilson, Erika Wilson, Bobby Lee Kincaid, Michaela Charon- Burleson, Taylor (Cody) Harper, Cheyenne (Kylan) Williamson, Sherri (Steve) Rosenburg, great grandchildren, Jacob Hulbert, Kaylin Simmons, Carlie Kincaid, Lilah Wilson, Ella Burleson, Kellen Burleson, Hudson Harper, Kylan Kincaid, Harley Harper, his sister, Jeannie Shackelford, and a host of extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Wanda “June” Kincaid. Service will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2022, 7:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township with visitation there from 5:00-7:00pm. An additional service will be held on Saturday March 5, 2022, at the Torrent Church of God in Torrent, Kentucky, at 2pm with visitation there from 12:00pm until the service at 2:00pm, with burial in the Kincaid Family Cemetery. Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky is assisting the family there.
