Jerry Ann Schneider-Froedge, 76, of Camby, Indiana passed away peacefully at 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Franciscan Hospital South Campus in Indianapolis, Indiana surrounded in love by her children. Jerry was born on September 10, 1940 at home in Indianapolis, Indiana to George F. and Mary E. Schneider. She married William Heaton on May 1, 1960. They divorced in September of 1981. She married Carleton Froedge August 31, 1986 who preceded her in death.
Jerry graduated from Washington High School in Indianapolis in 1959. She worked for 30 years for Kroger as head cashier, retiring in 2003. Since retiring she has enjoyed the company of her little dogs; Gigit and most recently Suzie. Jerry loved to travel to visit with her children and grandchildren and help out in whatever way she could. In her simple, quiet, kind-hearted way she always knew how to let her loved ones know that she cared and loved each one of them unconditionally. In her retirement Jerry enjoyed walking her dog through her neighborhood, taking care of her flowers during the summer, frequent trips to the stores at Heartland Crossing, but what she cherished most was caring for her children & grandchildren and the company of her family & friends.
She was a special, sweet mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister & aunt and will be deeply missed by all of those whose lives she touched.
