Jeffrey F. Ledman, a beloved husband, father, son and brother lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on Nov. 22, 2020 surrounded by his family.  Jeff was born to Francis (Junior) and Sara (Riehle) Ledman in Indianapolis on December 2, 1982.  He married the love of his life, Sarah Elizabeth Payton, June 8, 2019. He leaves behind his beloved wife Sarah, daughter Hannah Kathryn, parents Junior and Sara, brother Daniel (Jennifer), nephews Alex, Wyatt and niece Harper.  He is also survived by parent-in-laws Ernest And Becky Payton, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jeff graduated from Purdue University with his Bachelor of Science in 2005. He went on to earn his Masters of Science in 2011. Jeff was employed at Wabash National from 2005-2010. He worked at Allison Transmission as a Global Supply Chain Manager until the time of his death. His most important role was as a husband and father, to Sarah and Hannah.
Jeff was an avid Purdue fan. He enjoyed tailgating before the football games and attending basketball games. He enjoyed watching Colts football and participating in his fantasy football league.  Jeff was often in his workshop woodworking on projects for the home. Jeff was a craft beer connoisseur. He enjoyed sampling new and seasonal beers. Jeff often had a new adventure on his list. He loved to travel to National Parks, the mountains, and the beach (to appease his wife).
A memorial service will be on Monday, November 30, 2020 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Carmel, Indiana with Father Dan Gartland officiating.  In leu of flowers memorials may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (www.pancan.org). Please follow recommendations of the Indiana State Board of Health for COVID-19.
