Jeffrey E. Skinner

Jeffrey E. Skinner, born 8-10-43 died 8-26-18 (75 years).

Preceded in death by parents Max E. Skinner and Martha E. Skinner (Ziegler), sister Susan A. Stada (Gerald), and niece Christina Stada. Survived by brother Bruce Skinner and wife Rhonda, nieces Jennifer Stada and Sara Skinner, nephews Scott Stada and Nathan Skinner, great nieces and nephews. Jeff was an avid ham radio operator since his teens and an active member of the Marion County Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) and Emergency Dispatch Services of the Salvation Army. Jeff was a retired radio dispatcher for the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping and fishing. A graduate of the University of Nebraska he was a lifelong Husker fan and a founding member of Hoosiers for Huskers.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 29 from 6-8pm at Flanner Buchanan – Broad Ripple. A funeral service will be held on Thursday August 30 at 10:30am at the Stockwell, IN United Methodist Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Emergency Disaster Services of the Salvation Army.
