Jeffrey Charles Monroe,

54, of Avon, passed away on February 4, 2018. Jeff was born February 23, 1963 in Chicago, IL. He was employed for 20 years at Allison Payment Systems – he was also a part time Uber Driver. He was a loving, kind and caring man who was taken from life way too soon.

Jeff is survived by his wife and partner of 25 years, Deborah S. Monroe; his mother, Deborah L. Monroe of Las Vegas; his father, Demosthenes Monroe (Mattye) of Burbank, IL; his brother, Daniel Monroe and sister Dawn Monroe. He is also survived by Charles Blunt, Jr., Carlton Blunt (Jamie), Vandre Hickey (Jarel), and D’lana Oneal (Antonio).

He will be missed always by his 26 nieces and nephews including the girls, idle hands, and the boy.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 5pm-9pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Additional visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday, February 9 from 10am-12pm. Funeral services will immediately follow at 12pm on Friday. Jeff will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery.
