Jeffery Gordon was born February 4, 1956, in Olney, Illinois.  Jeff’s family and friends loved him very much and are deeply saddened by his death on March 4, 2023.

From a very early age, Jeff was passionate about anything having to do with electricity, sound, and music. He graduated from The College for Recording Arts in San Francisco. Jeff loved nature and was an Eagle Scout, and was an innovator, inventor, and a visionary.

Jeff was preceded in death by his loving parents, Johnsie and Donald Gordon and good friend, Charles Schmidt, and is survived by his loving sisters Gayle Gordon-Tyriver and Steve Tyriver, and Diana Gordon; and his nieces and nephews and their spouses, Dr. Jessica (Madden) Leitl and Scott Leitl, Dr. Morgan McCall and Daniel Lealiou, and Evan McCall and Arushi Sohi.

A memorial visitation and celebration of Jeff’s life will be held on May 11, 2023, from 4-7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, at Flanner-Buchanan funeral home at 1305 Broad Ripple Ave. in Indianapolis, Indiana. Burial will be in Indianapolis at a private graveside service for family on May 12, 2023.

In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for memorial donations to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) (nami.org, PO Box 49104, Baltimore, MD 21297) or the Indiana Entertainment Foundation (indianafound.org, 1305 Broad Ripple Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46220).
