Jeanine C. Newhouse

Jeanine C. Newhouse (Jeanie) of New Palestine died peacefully on March 13, 2020 at the age of 84.

She was born January 11, 1936 in Beech Grove, IN to the late Scott Robert and Hazel Bender.

She graduated from Arsenal Tech High School in 1954.

In 1958, she married Larry L. Newhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.

She worked at Indiana Bell Telephone Company after graduation, and later as a secretary at Debco Tool & Die in Indianapolis until she retired in 2000.  She enjoyed cooking, being a homemaker, and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter Christy L. Branham (Jeff); grandchildren Neely and Hunter Branham; and brother Ricky C. Bender.

She was preceded in death by her husband Larry L. Newhouse; son Brian L. Newhouse; and sister Shirley A. Patterson.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 17 from 4 to 7 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis.  Funeral Services will begin at 7 PM.  She will be laid to rest next to her husband and son at Washington Park East Cemetery during a private graveside service.
