Jean Carolyn Etchison

82, of Noblesville, passed away March 1, 2019. She was born on June 30, 1936, in New Castle, Indiana, as the daughter of Bruce and Loreine Thomas of Knightstown, IN.

Jean was a proud graduate of Knightstown High School, Class of ‘54. where she participated as a drum majorette and cheerleader.  Jean worked in the accounting department for Farm Bureau Co-Op for nearly twenty years before switching careers and transitioning to classroom assistant, and later to elementary school secretary in Warren Township Schools.  Upon her retirement in 2006, Jean enjoyed shopping, Sudoku, lunches with friends, and coloring.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Laura Etchison, Noblesville, and three grand-dogs:  Chester, Truman, and Lily.

She was preceded in death by her parents and late husband, Larry L. Etchison, formerly of Martinsville, IN.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019, from 5-8PM at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Lung Association or the Animal Protection League, Anderson, IN.
