Javed R. Maherdass,

78, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 30, 2020. He was born on July 4, 1942 in Punjab, Pakistan.

Javed is survived by his son, Matthew Dass; Daugher-In-Law, Rebekah Dass; several nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Suzana Dass; his parents; and his three siblings (1 brother and 2 sisters).

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 5^th from 11am-12pm at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 3000 N. High School Road, Indianapolis, IN 46224. A funeral service will follow at 12 noon, also at the church. Following the service Javed will be buried at New Crown Cemetery located at 2101 Churchman Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46203. Following the burial service a lunch take place at the residence of Matthew and Rebekah Dass located at 4031 Whitaker Dr. Indianapolis, IN 46254.

At this time a face mask is required for anyone attending the services at the church and social distancing is still being encouraged. John Knox Presbyterian Church will be live streaming the services for anyone that would like to watch the funeral service from home.
