Janice Mae Modglin

Janice Mae (Cooper) Modglin, 83 of Indianapolis, IN passed away June 16, 2020. She was born to the late Winiford and Dorothy Mae (Arvin) Cooper on May 12, 1937 in Indianapolis, IN. Janice was a Pastry Chef for the Columbia Club in Indianapolis, IN and for the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Kansas City, MO. She loved to keep busy whether it be sewing, knitting, gardening, cooking or spending time with her family, which she enjoyed very much. Janice will truly be missed by all who knew her and loved her. She is survived by her loving children, Winifred Jo (Frederick Lee) Owen, Laverne K. (Brian George) Lucas, 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and her brother, David Cooper. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Cooper. To celebrate Janice’s life there will be a Memorial Service, Tuesday June 23, 2020 2 PM at Flanner Buchanan Floral Park. She will be laid to rest at a future date at Floral Park Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be directed to the Donor’s favorite charity in memory of Janice.
