Janice Kay Palmer, age 77, was called home to heaven in the early hours of November 27th, 2021 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Jan is survived by her loving husband, Wayne, her children, Natasha (Samuel) Gipson, Kristi (Terri) Palmer and Andrew (Becky) Palmer, her brother, Merrill (Callie) Butler and her sister, Phyllis (Tony) Coelho and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was a proud grandmother to Patrick, Ronnie, Lily, Tristan and Maliyah. Jan was preceded in death by her sister, Patty, and her parents Merrill Sr. and Mary. She fought chronic rheumatoid arthritis her entire life with grace and the fierceness of a warrior.
Jan was a pioneer in establishing a work from home business, creating one of the first at home medical transcription businesses in the area. She was grateful to have many wonderful people who worked for her, many of whom became longtime friends.
Jan had many lifelong friends who were very dear to her and will be greatly missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be remembered for her kindness, generous heart and being a blessing to all.
