Janice Irene Karnes

Janice Irene Karnes (Beggs), 81, of Indianapolis, passed away on December 6^th, 2020 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Janice was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to late Clarence Marvin Beggs and Katherine Marie Smith (Harris) on July 17^th, 1939. She met the love her life, Harold Karnes at Omar Bakery. It was love at first sight and was a love affair that lasted 55 years. Janice was an avid shopper, and in her earlier years enjoyed traveling, camping, and going to the casino. Her greatest joy in life was being a wife, mom and grandma. She loved her family dearly. Janice will be missed sorely by all the lives she has touched.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sandy Elliott; and 4 siblings.

She is survived by her loving husband, Harold E. Karnes; children, Connie Trowbridge (Mike), JR Elliott (Julie), Robin Johns (Kevin); siblings, Jackie, Francine, Sunny, and Kathy; 9 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and an extended list of family and friends.

Services will be entrusted to Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East.

Janice will be laid to rest in Washington Park East Cemetery.
