Janet S. “Jan” (Welch) Stephens 75 longtime resident ofSpeedway died December 22, 2015. Jan wasa member of Lakeview Church. She waspreceded in death by her husband Jim Stephens in 2008. Jan worked 39 years at Roudebush VA Hospitalretiring in 1997. Jan enjoyed golfingwith her husband and making family and friends laugh. Calling will be held on Monday December 28^that Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway from 3 to 8 pm with the Funeral Service onTuesday December 29^th at 10 am. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery. Jan is survived by her children Tammy (Jamie)Derevage and Michael (Connie) Stephens four grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
