Janet L. Pendygraft

Janet Louise (Miller) Pendygraft, 76, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully in the evening of Friday, February 10th, at home with her family. She was born February 15, 1940 to Guy T. Miller and Adrian Miller. During her life, Janet was a devoted wife, loving mother, and nana. She was full of life and loved to laugh, spend time with her family, sing, and play the piano. She was a football fanatic, who also loved her rocks, flowers and trees. At Times, she would randomly place rocks, flowers and trees all throughout her yard. Devoting herself to her faith, she would read her Bible daily, and loved to watch the preachers on T.V., as well as listen to gospel music when she could not attend the Mars Hill Free Methodist Church which she was a member of.

Janet was preceded in death by her Parents, Guy T. Miller and Adrian Miller; Husband, Merrill Walker Pendygraft; Sisters, Sharon and Sandy; and Son-in-Law, Mark Hiland.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her siblings, Tom, Cheryl, Pam, Michael, Billie and Melva; Daughters, Denise Pendygraft (Bill), Suzi Hiland, Stephanie Pendygraft and Cathy Daniels (Harold); Grandchildren, Jerry Pendygraft, Elijah Daniels, Travis Hiland, Brandon Daniels; Great-grandchild Shae Lynn Daniels; and many sister-in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 4p.m.-8p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan – Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Rd. Indianapolis, IN. 46222. Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017 at the funeral home, with Janet being laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery following the service.
