Janet B. Hamilton

Janet B. Hamilton, 92, of Indianapolis, passed away December 26^th, 2021. She was born December 17^th, 1929, in Clay City, Indiana to parents Herschel and Ada (Schields) Putoff.

She grew up in Clay City and graduated from high school there.

Janet worked as a typist for Navel Avionics for over 30 years before retiring.

On July 21^st, 2012, she married Clayton Hamilton. They shared nine wonderful years together.

Janet was a loving, generous woman. She was a valued member of Abundant Love Church of God, and her faith was an important part of her life. She faithfully donated to her church and many charities she held dear to her heart. Janet loved the sunshine. She and her husband spent many winters in Florida. In her younger years, she and her sister Norma loved to travel. Janet enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles, and watching Christian TV.

She was a devoted wife, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Janet is survived by her husband, Clayton Hamilton; step children and grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law Patty Putoff.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings.
