Jane Stringer

Jane Stringer, 73, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 8, 2019.

Jane was born April 24, 1946 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Charlie and Zola Campbell. She was very active at Fellowship of Christ Baptist Church in Beech Grove and served as their treasurer and served on a number of committees. She cherished her friendships and time spent with her church family. Jane enjoyed going to garage sales and shopping, but above all she was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother.

She leaves behind her son, Wendis Fugate Jr. (Jeanette); son, Kevin Stringer (Lisa); grandchildren, Amanda Braden (fiancé, Serif Krkic), Wendis Fugate III, Trysten Fugate; and siblings, Bonnie, Ruby, Cleda, Anna, Ezella, Dosha, Anthony, Fred, and Denver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Stringer, parents, and siblings.

Friends and family are invited to gather from 10:00am-11:30 on Saturday, January 12, 2019, with a funeral service to follow at 11:30am at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East.
