Jane McCuan Richeson
86, of Carmel, Indiana passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018. She was born in Marion, Indiana on July 28, 1932 to Bill and Melba McCuan.
In her younger days she was quite the cook and seamstress. Every dress, coat and costume her daughters wore as a child, she made with perfection. She loved reading, art, history, traveling and cats. Jane earned a degree in history and teaching. She was a successful secretary, legal, medical and executive. She eventually worked for the federal government in Human Resources. Retirement years allowed her to travel the US, Canada and Europe. She also worked part-time for the Indianapolis Museum of Art so that she could be surrounded by the art she loved.
Jane is preceded in death by her husband Clarence T. Richeson; parents, Bill and Melba McCuan.
She is survived by her two daughters Jeanette (Douglas) Miller and Jennifer Vestal and two granddaughters, Allyson D Miller and Kelly E. Miller.
Per Jane’s wishes, no services will be held. Memorial contributions on her behalf can be made to any animal rescue shelter, food bank or Salvation Army in your community.
